Cookies Policy
Last Updated: April 21, 2026What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences and understand how you interact with the Service. Some cookies are essential for the site to work; others are optional and used for analytics or advertising.
How We Store Data Locally
My Buddy Workout uses your browser's localStorage to save generated workout plans on your device. This is not a cookie — it never leaves your device, is not accessible to us or any third party, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
Cookie Categories We Use
Necessary — Always active. These cookies are required for the basic operation of the Service. They do not track you or collect personal data.
Analytics — Default: off. Requires your consent. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) via Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors interact with the Service. Data is anonymous and aggregated. No personal profiles are created.
Marketing — Default: off. Requires your consent. We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure whether visitors reached the Service after clicking one of our ads.
Third-Party Data Processing by Google
When analytics or marketing cookies are enabled, data such as your anonymized IP, browser type, pages visited, and ad interaction data may be sent to and processed by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
This constitutes an international data transfer under GDPR. Google participates in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and uses Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as a transfer mechanism.

Google Consent Mode v2
We implement Google Consent Mode v2. All Google tags are initialized in denied mode by default — no analytics or advertising data is collected until you explicitly grant consent. Your choice is applied instantly and persisted across visits.
Your Rights
GDPR (EU/EEA users): You may withdraw consent at any time, request access to or deletion of any data held about you, or lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In Poland: uodo.gov.pl.
CCPA (California users): You may opt out of the "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising by rejecting marketing cookies. We do not sell personal data.
Since we do not store personal data on our servers, most rights are exercised by managing your cookie preferences below or through your browser settings.
